How DRM software helps the Publisher

I work as a publisher with course materials for different training courses. I am using the LockLizard DRM software for protecting my documents from unauthorized usages. There are two important features for digital rights management that are used for safeguarding and controlling the usage of the files. The first feature provides the publishers to specify the number of days the information on the document can be accessed after its first opening. This allows me to fix the number of days the training courses could be used by the learners. This way I can fix the period of access to the knowledge by the learners. I can also provide try-before-you-buy offer. By this way, the recipient gets specific number of times to go through the information to evaluate the product and decide to go further for it.

The other important feature is that the users can choose to open the document at the last point they have accessed, and not from the start of the document. This feature allows for complete security of the document and there is no risk of compromise of any sort. The secured document remains same and no part of it is altered.
